CLINICAL SUPPORT POSITION – NOT SUBJECT TO STATE HUMAN RESOURCES ACT.
The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center.
Vidant Medical Center is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Minimum Education/practice High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office practice; or equivalent combination of training and practice.
License or Certification required by statute or regulation None Preferred practice, Skills, Training/Education An associate\\\'s degree in Medical Assisting, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or other related degree from an accredited two year program is preferred with one year of healthcare practice.
Insurance management, managed care and data entry expertise highly desirable.
Computer skills are essential.
Applicant should demonstrate a proven capability to communicate with patients, physicians, and other clinical support staff members.
