Position DescriptionThe NF/IWS Quality Assurance Engineer will design, automate and execute tests in support of the set of applications associated with Guided Ad Hoc Reporting, FI Data Warehouse and Funds Network.
He or she will work with other members of the team based on New Hampshire, Bangalore India, Chennai India and North Carolina.
The successful candidate must be a highly collaborative and adept at test automation and test design.
He or she is expected to follow QA best practices around test documentation and managing to standard release milestones for testing.
He or she must provide project and initiative transparency while collaborating across the project team.
The candidate is expected to have domain/technical expertise around DevOps, QA practices and reporting applications.
Primary ResponsibilitiesThe overall responsibility of this role is to ensure production stability and useful functionality of the application stack.

Skills and Knowledge3
*5 years of Quality Assurance or Software Development.
Practical understanding of the Brokerage business domain.
Ability to collect, creatively analyze and use data to make business and risk decisions and to evaluate success.
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience.
Ability to quickly understand and incorporate new technologies.
Strong technical skills including relational databases with knowledge of SQL, web infrastructure and applications and batch processing, preferably in both mainframe and distributed environments.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fluid organization where priorities shift to respond to changing business needs.
Strong personal organization skills and ability to multi
*task Proficiency in software development lifecycle approaches such as Agile and Waterfall methods.
Ability to succeed in a matrix environment across multiple locations and functions Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.
Quality Center, Service Manager, PPMC, Sahi, Jasmin, UFT, GITStash and/or ClearCase experience are plusses.
Some software development or test experience with:
Direct experience with automated test strategies and continuous integration, DevOps preferred. 5 years of Software Quality Assurance and/or Development experience Demonstrated ability to execute QA and testing initiatives.
