*term planning for LAN, MAN and WAN network including circuit forecasts, traffic studies, and other network performance reports.brbrPlans and supports new service implementation on the network.brbrEnsures that traffic planning tools are maintained and revised to accurately report traffic levels.brbrResponsible for the employment, training, motivation and evaluation of assigned staff.brbrProvides leadership in integrating vendor, manufacturer, and technical knowledge into the network environment.brbrPlans, tests, recommends, and implements network, file server, mainframe, and workstation hardware and software.brbrConsults with stakeholders and evaluates requirements, recommend designs, and provide cost analyses.brbrResponsible for the planning and management of large network and telecommunications operations.brbrPlans new routing revisions to ensure that the network databases are consistent with network plans.brbrAnalyzes and resolves technical problems for new and established networks.brbrProvides network documentation, training, and guidance to computing system clients and programmers.brbrTroubleshoots and resolves complex network production problems.brbrConducts technical research on network upgrades and components to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system.brbrRecommends network solutions for short-, medium-, and long

Also requires one to two years of supervisory experience.brIAM Level I and IAT Level II Certification e.g.
CompTIA SecuritybrbrExperience Eight 8 years of technical experience in support of relevant technical field, to include Large Enterprise IT Operations 200 sites, 10, 000 users and Network Engineering.
Experience must include a minimum of three 3 years in a supervisorymanagement role.brbrbbDesired QualificationsbbbrProven success in a DHS or component network operations center.brITIL v3 Foundations LevelbrNetworking certification e.g.
